We are Block Shop Books, an independent bookstore in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. We are happy to help with book purchases for school libraries and classrooms! We offer a 20% discount for schools and provide personal assistance with selecting titles appropriate for your target age groups and educational goals. Since we opened in May of last year, we have assisted a variety of teachers and school librarians with customized recommendations for book purchases.

We love talking about books and encourage you to come in to say hello and browse in our store. It has sections dedicated to picture books, non-fiction kids’ titles, activity books, children’s poetry, middle grade fiction, young adult fiction, and graphic novels. We also have an online store - with over 5 million titles available to order - where we can build lists of recommended titles for you based on your requirements and where you can easily create your own wish lists.
